Corky's is just...Corky's. People hail it as the best barbecue in Memphis, but I'd respectfully disagree. I'm much more of a fan of hole in the wall places that pepper Memphis and the surrounding areas. However, Corky's is pretty good. I was excited that we were getting a Corky's in Olive Branch. I'm glad to see other restaurants coming to North MS. I'm just not too impressed with Corky's in general. That being said, I actually decided to get the chicken tenders..which were surprisingly amazing. And the honey mustard?? Talk about a religious experience. And the bread??? Oh boy...I could never be a no carb person I was a little miffed and the fact it took so long to get served after we sat down. They weren't busy at all but the server took a good 5 minutes to get to our table. Once we actually placed our order things went pretty quickly! All in all it was a good experience

I stop by Corky's at least one or two times a year when I drive through Memphis. This time, I happened to be driving across Mississippi into Memphis and decided to come to this location instead. It was honestly my best Corky's experience and I have been to all of the locations. The ribs were the best Corky's ribs I have ever eaten. I live in Kansas City and normally prefer KC style BBQ, but when it comes to ribs, you can't beat Corky's. The downside for me is that I don't really like their beans because I prefer KC style beans. I've literally never eaten anything but the ribs, so I don't know how anything else is. But, if you go to a Corky's and don't get ribs, you are what is wrong with the world.

I love me some Corky's. Get. The. Ribs. Can't decide between wet or dry? Get half and half. I actually prefer mine "muddy" which is dry rubbed, then slathered in sauce. The best of both worlds. The bbq nachos are excellent to share, if you're with a group. One star has to be removed, because this location just isn't as consistent and delicious as the Poplar location. I've had some truly sumptuous ribs here, and others that were a little oversmoked. However, it is ALWAYS less crowded. It's a fair trade off, if you're in the area.

As good as the original in memphis! Great ribs

I got the pulled pork dinner, and the baked potato with pulled chicken. I don't like to add bbq sauce because I want to be able to get the full taste of the meat . Taste was OK, but both meals were very dry without adding bbq sauce. Disappointing

The service has been terrible on at least half of the occasions I have visited this location. If they put you in the back by the soda-cap artwork, you can expect bad service. On one occasion, the waiter never showed up to greet us. The manager said that the hostess didn't let the server (who was in the kitchen) know that he had customers. We chalked it up to new employee training. On another occasion, our waitress ignored us and walked past us to the table behind while I was trying to get her attention. We had to flag down another waitress to get refills. The manager had no excuse that time. You can get better barbecue and better service at any of the other sit-down BBQ places in the area.

I wanted to love it - really! - but we've been here a few times now and.... Well, I don't love it. I love Corky's BBQ Nachos in Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium at Ole Miss. I love Corky's Bar-B-Q sauce. I've loved Corky's at other locations. I first loved Corky's at MEM - yes the airport- so it should have only been looking up from there ... But I don't love it here. We currently have more empty cups on our table than we have people and we have no full ones (obviously we don't mind the beer). The waiter has tried to bring us another table's food but has not brought bread he mentioned half an hour ago... That would make sense if it was busy but I see only three full tables - in the whole place. Empty cups would be ok if the food was good - I would be too busy stuffing my face to care - but the ribs were tough and fatty and the pork dinner was dry and fatty... So ... Maybe another place, another day but ... I don't love it.

The sandwiches were generous, with tender meat and generous portions. This is a must visit place if you are in Olive Branch.

The food was very good. There were six of us and we all loved our meals. We had ribs, chicken sandwiches, catfish, and pork shoulder. Would go back again.

While I'm thinking what to write for this review I'm imagining my fellow yelpers' faces (Kyle W. specifically haha, hi my friend!) and nodding to my 4 stars, but just give me a chance to explain. This place is not as busy as the one in Poplar and of course is way better than the one in Collierville (This one is always dirty). The one that just opened here in Olive Branch is very clean, they have pretty cool wall decor and the food is very very good! maybe because is not that busy they have more time invested in the food, or the ovens are newer or I do not know, but trust me when I say that we loved everything here. The ribs were super moist (we always have dry), they had a perfect smoke to them, and the side dishes were very good and not greasy at all. The waiter was attentive, very polite and effective. The place was really clean (not greasy walls or tables like in Poplar), so I just wish them good luck and hope they keep up with it and don't end up like the other restaurants they have.

It's newness doesn't give it the special Corky's feel of the Poplar Street location, but it's trying. The things Corky's will do well for you are this: great food and great service. I enjoy Corky's for its BBQ beef and the sauce is unreal. I am also amazed at how quickly the food gets to me. That has been a Corky's staple.

The good was good but not spectacular. I had the pulled pork dinner..there was more fat in with the meat than I prefer. My husband has the beef brisket dinner, which he really enjoyed.

Love Corky's! Food is good but this one has a boring atmosphere. The others have Elvis or Jerry Lee, etc blaring, etc. This is BBQ at a library.

8/27/2015. We are camping at the Graceland RV Park on Elvis Presley Blvd in Memphis. We went to Corky's Ribs and BBQ and what a wonderful experience. This location is only about 20 minutes from where were are camping. Our server Matt really took care of us. The food was excellent. We most certainly enjoyed our meals of chicken, ribs, and brisket. The sides of cole slaw, beans and chips were also very good. If you are in the area, be sure to visit Corky's in Olive Branch. There are several other Corky's locations around Memphis.

The formula is still alive and well. Slow cooked BBQ ribs, wet or dry, are fabulous. The coleslaw (compared to my Simpleton preference for KFC) is decent; but the baked beans are divine. The baked rolls are good, but could give customers more than one apiece. In typical MiSouth fashion, the place is packed because it's new. Don't have room for dessert, but will get banana pudding next time.

My colleague told me that everyone recommended this place for the best BBQ in Memphis. So, we tried this out when he got back from same place where I came from. It is in the suburbs of Olive Branch, MS which in my opinion better than scenic East Memphis (a bit ghetto). We both got ribs and I got a short stack with fried catfish. We finally caved and got the dry rub which we liked and added the BBQ sauce afterwards. I was full and was satisfied. The ribs seemed good but maybe I was just expecting a tad bit more. I haven't had ribs in a long time so maybe my judgment was a little off. But, I recalled having better but this was pretty decent. The waitress was nice and made sure to get our glasses refilled. So, I think the service was pretty spot on. Driving here is wide lanes with middle turn lane so be sure to slow down or you will miss it.

I have always been a fan of Corky's, but I had never been to this particular one. We went last Saturday, and I could tell they were down a couple of servers. However, when we were seated, and it was pretty quickly, our server did her best to keep in communication with us. I think Brenda was her name and she was great! We ordered the sausage/cheese plate........may have been the best one I've ever had. The rolls, of course, are always delicious and the ribs, turkey, and pulled pork were vintage Corky's. It's one of my favorite BBQ places in Memphis and I can almost guarantee you'll have a good meal if you go.

We have been eating at Corkys nearly 10 years now. We hadn't been to this one until today. When we were being seated we noticed 5 or 6 tables with food left on them. It was nasty lol. Sorry but that's not a good view to have when your seating people to eat. I said something to our waitress and she looked at me like I was wrong for saying something about it. They also switched waitress on us before the food came. The new waitress had a poor piss attitude like the another. She asked me if I wanted a to go cup for my tea hen we weren't even done lol. We told her we wanted some peach cobbler. I didn't eat all mine and she came by and asked if I wanted a to go box. I said yes. She came by and threw down a plastic container lol. She was suppose to give me a styrofoam container. Staff likes to sit around gossiping and not doing anything. This is why the tables were dirty. They also have poor pissy attitudes. We will not be back here again!! You can bet on that!

My sister and brother in law took us here on our trip to Memphis. At first I was decieved by the portion size of my brisket dinner but dear god in heaven above I believe I'm in love. More over the staff was really amazing from hostess to not only our waiter (whose one of the best ive ever experienced) Chrshun but the other ones were polite and friendly. Between the atmosphere, food, quick service despite being busy our drinks were never empty either. This is an experience I imagine ill repeat on every trip.

This place is always fast with service and the food comes out right away. Never had to send my food back due to something wrong. It's always hot and quick service. Friendly employees. I sure hope it stays this way as this is my go to Barbecue place!

I've been through the drive- thru twice and they've gotten the order wrong both times. I will not make that mistake a 3rd time. I love bbq but I'll have to find somewhere else to eat from now on!

Stopped here on our way to Ole Miss. Food was exceptional but service was just ok. The pulled chicken salad was delicious. The waitress didn't seem to be in a rush even though it was lunchtime.

First time at Corky's. After high ratings, I just had to try it. I had a slab for two half wet and half dry. First time ever trying a rub and was pleasantly surprised. Liked it far better than the sauce, which lacked flavor. None of the food had any hickory smoked flavor. Ribs just had a burnt flavor. Beans were lackluster, mac lacked salt, slaw was good close to KFC. Original and Apple barbecue sauces we're not good. My wife had the chopped pork sandwich with slaw. It had a better taste than the ribs. But still no gotta have more taste. Service was fast and good. The atmosphere was nice. Overall the let down may be due to this being a new location, I may try an older location next time.

Ate on their heated patio and the food and service was top notch. We ordered the cheese and sausage plate for an appetizer. It was wonderful. I had the pull pork plate for entree. My son had the kids chicken tender plate. Everything was so tender and juicy. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. Great experience overall. We will go back.
